Lookout is a powerful tool that utilizes computer vision technology to assist individuals with low vision or blindness in completing tasks more efficiently. Developed with input from the blind and low-vision community, Lookout aligns with Google's commitment to universal accessibility and ensuring that everyone has access to information. With six distinct modes catered to various activities, Lookout offers a versatile experience:

Images mode (NEW): This mode describes the contents of images in detail and allows users to ask questions through voice and text. Currently available in English in the US, UK, and Canada.
Text mode: Quickly skim through and have text read aloud, perfect for tasks like sorting mail and reading signs.
Food labels mode: Identify packaged foods by their labels or scan barcodes. Available in over 20 countries.
Documents mode: Capture entire pages of text or handwriting for easy access.
Currency mode: Quickly and reliably identify banknotes, supporting US Dollars, Euros, and Indian Rupees.
Explore mode (beta): Provides information about surroundings by identifying objects, people, and reading signs.

Furthermore, Lookout is available in more than 20 languages and can be used on Android devices running Android 6 and above. It is recommended to use devices with at least 2GB of RAM for optimal performance.
